Story Time!
Once upon a time, in a very grey, and very overworked office, sat an exasperated administrator, banging their head against a desk.
"Why," cried the administrator, "...isn't there a Magic Fairy that can just fly in, wave a magic wand, and get all these [annoying] jobs done for me?!"
To which a colleague helpfully replied, "Because fairies don't exist, and even if they did exist, they probably wouldn't want to do admin work. "
"Well that's just not fair" the administrator huffed, "there's only one of me, and I can't get all of this done by myself, and who says fairies don't like admin work?"
"I think that's probably covered by the statement 'fairies don't exist', I have the same problem, all that work my other half does as a sole trader, 12+ hours a day, so it's muggins here that has to do all that admin work when I get home as well!" another colleague chimed in.
"Maybe we can see about hiring someone else to help, the department is overloaded right now" the administrator pondered out loud.
A snort came from the doorway, they all turned to look, as their manager walked in carrying a stack of papers, "We don't have the budget for a permanent team member right now, or even a temp worker. And anyway, we don't know if there's enough work to denote having someone in all the time, it might get quiet soon" at this last comment the stack of papers were deposited on the only clear space available on the administrator's desk.
"Quiet soon?! This is the third pile you've dropped on my desk today, and it's only 11am!"
"Maybe, if you're lucky, a Magic Fairy will drop out of the sky and do it for you." the manager smarmily replied as they quickly exited the office empty-handed.
A thought began to swirl around the administrator's head - "just because there isn't a Magic Fairy right now, doesn't mean there won't be one day. I've been working in administration and accounts for nearly 3 decades, maybe I could be a Magic Fairy?"

So, the administrator got on with their work, and, in the back of their mind, an idea began to develop, a plan began to form, and soon a Magic Fairy would exist, and this one would absolutely love admin work!

The Idea...
The idea, was simple. To be able to provide any business, big or small, sole traders through to limited companies, with qualified & experienced people to undertake their surplus administration, technical, and bookkeeping tasks. Basically, anything that happens in an office.
​Provide easy to use templates, offer guidance and advice, make suggestions for implementation of new technology, and whatever else possible to help other people keep their costs down and business flowing.
The Plan!
From here, the plan itself was formed. Starting small, the structure for The Magic Fairy Ltd was gradually put in place. Templates began to be designed, information was gathered, consultations were made with a variety of different people from different backgrounds & sectors.
Our question was simple:
What would you want a Magic Fairy to be able to do for you?
Whilst the answers were varied (and a few of them were funny but NSFW), almost all of them had that same foundation. Everyone needed help to complete the jobs they didn't have time for, and they all wanted it to cost as little as possible.

So, what next?
The future is a story not yet written, and The Magic Fairy is a saga that has no ending defined.
We plan to continue providing the best service possible, for the best price possible. We plan to add more fairies to the team and expand our horizons. We want to be able to offer a complete package, that covers every aspect of business administration, even down to networking and development.
For now, we're small, but tomorrow, well, that's a whole other magical story waiting to be told.
